Willie Pope was a pitcher with the Pittsburgh Crawfords and Homestead Grays during the 1944-1948 period. A photo of him in a Grays uniform has been posted previously on this thread, but this is the first posting of him in a Pittsburgh Crawfords uni. It comes from the Knoxville (TN) Journal of Sept. 17, 1944.
