Jeremiah Jackson took the fourth pitch of the bottom of the 10th inning and launched it 418 feet over the wall in left-center field to give Springfield a 2-1 win at Olympic Stadium (Montreal).
The homer came off River Walkers reliever Tim Hill and gave the Prairie Fighters a win in the third game of the series after dropping the first two.
St. Louis tallied a run in the top of the second -- Jean Carmona led off with a single off Fighters starter DJ Jefferson and scored when Romy Gonzalez doubled -- but would not score again.
Springfield tied it in the bottom of the fifth against Walkers starting pitcher Steven Brault.
Eric Hosmer singled with one out and moved to second when Jackson was hit by a pitch.
Jefferson chased Hosmer home with a single.
In addition to the RBI, Jefferson worked six innings allowing just one run on two hits. He struck out seven and walked one.
