There's defiitely a problem in the way the game handles this kind of players. I can't really talk for other league, but in the KHL the situation is far from being ideal (and judging by the thread starter, it seems to be very similar). For some reasons, the teams don't like to move players around, and they just have them in the first team without using the farm and especially the junior affiliations. The rust effect and the suspensions improved the situation as some players in FHM5 would literally play zero games a season, while in FHM6 they often range from 8-10 games a season, but that is certainly not enough. Teams should be more aggressive with moving players up and down and sign a higher number of young players as they tend to dry up fast as we move into season three or four
