It's lousy timing for Josh Schaeffer, one of the best players on the team this year, to be doing battle with tendinitis in his knee when the Brewers are just barely clinging to hope for a repeat MGL title, as they trail L.A. by 3 with 4 games to play (the last 3 against the Spinners in L.A.)
But the reality is that he will probably only be used sparingly here at the end of the season and the team will have to hope that somehow steps up big in his absence if we are to have any chance to catch the Spinners.
(Let's face it, we really don't anyway.)
