Alex Faedo limited Cedar Rapids to two runs over seven innings, he also drove in three runs with a bases-loaded double as St. Louis downed the Golden Grapplers 10-2 at Shibe Park (1949).
The win gave the River Walkers a sweep of their three-game series.
On the mound, Faedo (9-5) allowed the two runs on five hits. He struck out 10 and walked just one.
At the plate, Faedo's double off Cedar Rapids starter Ranger Suarez drove in the first three runs of a six-run top of the fourth as St. Louis turned a 1-1 tie into a 7-1 advantage.
Rhys Hoskins earned the inning's fourth RBI with a sacrifice fly..
Larry Ernesto made it 7-1 with a single which scored Alek Thomas.
John Curtiss and Tim Hill pitched a scoreless inning apiece to close out the win.
