Marcos Junior Gonzalez scored on a wild pitch by relief pitcher Yelin Rodriguez with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift St.Louis to a 5-4 win over Des Moines in the second game of a double header at Busch Stadium (1997).
The victory gave the River Walkers a sweep of the doubleheader.
Down 4-2, St. Louis had tied it in the bottom of the seventh. Tanner Kohlhepp drew a lead-off walk from Harvesters relief pitcher Kellan Tuilo.
A wild pitch moved Kohlhepp to second.
Rhys Hoskins drove Kohlhepp home when he hit his second two-run homer of the game of Tuilo.
Earlier, Hoskins had hit a two-run homer in the third off Des Moines starting pitcher Sixto Sanchez.
It left Des Moines with a 3-2 lead.
St. Louis starting pitcher Jimmy Lambert allowing three runs on five hits over 4.2 innings.
Tim Hill finished the fifth inning.
He was folllowed by Luis Palomo (0.2 IP), Dan Jennings (1.1), John Curtiss (1.0) and Jake Brentz (1-0).
Brentz (6-0) pitched around a one-out single from Nander De Sedas in the top of the ninth, setting himself up for the win.
