Walkers news: Sept. 29 -- Des Moines 4, St. Louis 3

Record: 94-63, 1st, NL South Division clinched; 2 GB Chicago for best record in NL
Down 3-2, Des Moines scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning to squeak out a 4-3 win at LaBlatt Park (Montreal).
Cody Bellinger set things in motion with a one-out walk off River Walkers starting pitcher Argenis Batista.
Thairo Estrada followed with a single, also sending Batista to the showers.
Tim Hill took over and allowed an RBI single to Jarron Silva that tied it.
The next batter, Carlos David Rodriguez flew out, but Hill was forced to exit with back tightness.
Dan Jennings took over and walked Garret Frechette.
With the bases loaded, Adam Wenger got the call and walked John Lehto, scoring Estrada with what would be the game-winning run.
Harvesters starting pitcher Chance Adams allowed three runs on five hits in five innings.
Four relievers -- Ty Buttery, Leo Vazquez, Omar Benitiz and Bryan Garcia -- all worked a scoreless inning apiece to help pave the way to the win.
Vazquez (4-11) came out of it with the victory. Garcia earned his 29th save.
