Game 1
10th inning tie game, Michel singles and steals second. Rather than walk Mercier with one out and pitch to Henri, the Toucans commit the cardinal sin. Mercier lines a base hit and it's game over. The win goes to CL extraordinaire, Gerald Gallet who is now 4-0 with a ridiculous 0.36 ERA
Game 2
Rodrigue DeShamps, who lead the league in HR's with 29 last season, may have been elected the POG for the Toucans but it was Herve Delage delivering the real damage. DeShamps did hit two homers, but, Delage went 3 for 5 with a home run leading the Artists to an 8-6 win.
Game 3
A sweep was not in the cards as it was Pierre Lopes who was doing the dealing today. Lopes logged 7 IP allowing 5 hits and 1 run. His battery mate, Alex Guiterrez called an excellent game and nailed Yamada trying to run a H&R with Mercier at the plate. The W to Lopes and the S to Delannoy (12) who tossed 2 scoreless frames for the Toucans.

What a tight series! Not only were the total runs nearly identical for both teams but the hits were extremely close too.
