I have similar problem right now. I can log into my account and also see tournaments and can register for them however whenever I attempt to enter the game either through tournament or classic PT play I get an error saying: "Could not sync your card data. Please retry.". This happens only on my primary account where I own many cards. This issue doesn't occur on my other accounts where I have less than 200 cards. Any advice how to fix this?

EDIT: and exactly after I tried it 50 times in last two days and posted it in here, I just got in ...
