It certainly looks like El Paso rookie left fielder Pete Wiederkehr has a bright future ahead of him in the WPK. His present isn't bad either as he took the SJL honor of Batter of the Month for June.
And the Brewers have received much more than they could have hoped for from slick fielding first baseman Brett Taranto. Like a bat potent enough to earn him the Batter of the Month award for the MGL in the month of June. After such a wonderful month, he now leads the MGL in batting average by 20 points over his nearest rival.
