Walkers news: April 30 -- Springfield 5, St. Louis 4

Record: 11-11, 4th (Tied/w. Springfield), 4 GB Cedar Rapids
Riley Greene snapped a 4-4 tie with an RBI double off St. Louis starting pitcher Argenis Batista with no outs in the fifth inning to help give Springfield a 5-4 win at Busch Stadium (1997).
The victory gave the Prairie Fighters a three-game sweep of their series.
Once down 4-0, the River Walkers had tied it at 4 in the bottom of the fourth when Rhys Hoskins hit a two-run homer off Springfield starter Jared Kelley.
Batista, who had been battered for four runs in the top of the first, gave the lead away in the top of the next inning.
Wander Samuel Franco led off with a single and scored when Greene followed with his double.
In the first inning, Springfield had put five of its first six batters aboard against Batista.
Alex Bregman scored two in that inning with a double.
Framil Reyes and Victor Caratini also had RBI doubles in the inning.
Kelley lasted just four innings, allowing four runs on four hits.
Francisco Martes (fifth and sixth) and Dinelson Lamet (eighth and ninth) sandwiched two-inning stints around Mark McConnell who worked a scoreless seventh.
Martes (3-1) earned the win. Lamet got his first save.
