Julius Grant

Here is a hard throwing southpaw of the 60's . Julius Grant was a good hitting pitcher. He went 58-55 over 8 minor league seasons and hit .200 with 5 home runs never advancing beyond AAA. His 6 Mexican league campaigns are a statistical mystery. It looks like he threw with velocity but command and control were an issue.
Here is Julius Grant with The Monterrey Sultans where he played from '63 to '68. Julius appears to be the brother Jim "Mudcat" Grant to whom he certainly bears a strong resemblance. I did not find anything yet stating this outright. Both Grants were born in different North Florida towns two years apart.
