Okay. There are a couple of things going on here. The request here are just that. Requests. I started doing this separate thread because there were grumblings on the Gambo thread about the forum being dilute by black and white and then colorization of those images. I in no way ever committed to fulfilling every single request..
We have gone round and round with this. Most of the submissions here are done. They take time. We all have our own projects and most of the colorizing work I do needs to line up with my own needs. I have told other contributors that they need to take charge of their own work and that I would help occasionally or as I could.
With your particular project, Cheech, you should welcome any help that is provided. You are attempting to assemble an all inclusive face pack of all players with all teams in all uniforms-- an enormous undertaking. No offense, but most of the "upgrades" you request are anything but. The Tillman image you submitted for example will not colorize well and then demanding (Yes that is how you handle things) that it be done and in turn converted to a second team is ridiculous when images of said player are so readily available In color. Similar pose. With correct team. All the subsequent posts were doing was showing you alternatives. I do not understand why these efforts are met with such hostility on your part.
I am still more than a little annoyed that the previous debate cost the forum the contributions and insights of UKBaseballfan. I disagreed with him from time to time as well but this issue does not seem to ever really go away.
I had seen your request for the Tillman image and as I do with every request made here, I searched the internet for alternatives or a better version of the image you submitted. I found a Yankees image that I thought would fit your needs and did some work on improving it. I fixed some lighting issues and then removed the background as you prefer.
