Walkers news: May 26 -- St. Louis 3, Springfield 2

Record: 24-21, 3rd, 0.5 GB Springfield and Des Moines
For the second straight game., the St. Louis River Walkers rallied from a deficit to defeat Springfield 3-2 at Olympic Stadium (Montreal).
The Prairie Fighters went up with a pair of runs of St. Louis starter Tanner Bibee in the fourth inning.
St. Louis sliced the deficit in half in the top of the fifth.
It started when Jared Thomas reached on a two-out error by Springfield first baseman Eric Hosmer.
Thomas scored when Jean Carmona followed with a double off Fighters starter Franklin Perez.
The Walkers grabbed the lead for good in the eighth.
Dinelson Lamet was on the mound for the start of the rally, and he could not find the strike zone.
Edmond Americaan, Bo Bichette and Carlos Vidal all drew walks to load the bases.
He struck out Rhys Hoskins for the first out.
Keegan Thompson took over, and Andrew Benintendi followed with a double to score two and give St. Louis the lead.
Bibee turned in his fourth straight good start, allowing two runs on seven hits over six innings.
Williams Jerez worked a scoreless seventh and got the first two outs of the eighth.
Danny Grigg finished the eighth inning.
Edwin Diaz sent the Fighters down in order in the ninth, earning his seventh save.
