Jim Brown was a catcher and first baseman with the Chicago American Giants from 1919 through 1937. Both photos show him with that team. The photo on the left is from the Seamheads.com website. The photo on the right is from Phil Dixon's THE NEGRO BASEBALL LEAGUES: A PHOTOGRAPHIC HISTORY.
