Charlie Gelbert 1929
This is the best photo I could find of Gelbert in a Red Sox uniform. There was one other action shot of him, and it was even worse. This one shows him playing third base and tagging Joe DiMaggio on the leg for the out. It's from the New York Daily News of 9/9/1940.
