Shigeru Koizumi, SS
Koizumi's eight gold gloves tell you all you need to know about his career. He was a defensive wizard at shortstop, holding down the position for the Cubs for nine years before transitioning to third base in his 30s. His best year was at age 26 when he finished 2nd in the MVP voting behind Monty Hutchinson. He becomes just the second Japanese-born player in the Hall of Fame after the ageless wonder Tsuneyoshi Yamashida.
