2nd: Summerland Sunsets (95-59)
The Sunsets had a tough battle in the Tycobbian South, but they defeated last year's division winner Southport by 5 games... pitching has always been the name of the game in Summerland... they have always been short on offense in their IPA playoff history, but not this year... the Sunsets have mustered a good offense to go along with its masterful mound corps... this year Underhill, Hilgendorf, Marlow and Drobish will have some run support... Johnny Pendergrass, Rip Norfield and Reg Leyden have done the job this year at the plate... the Sunsets could be on the rise in the IPA... if the hurlers get some help from the hitters, Summerland could bring home its first-ever IPA Pro Cup.. but they have quite a task -- first of all, they have to beat heavy-hitting Hartsdale in first-round action... then get past the powerful Rolling Hills Racers in the Tycobbian Finals... and ultimately whip the Ruthlandian Union champion for the whole shebang... it will take good hitting and good pitching to win it all in the Islandian Pro Alliance.
