Steven Brault tossed a three-hit shutout and Edmond Americaan provided the game's lone run with a solo homer in the bottom of the fifth inning as St. Louis downed Cedar Rapids 1-0 to complete a doubleheader sweep at Busch Stadium (1997).
The River Walkers won both ends of the doubleheader by 1-0 scores, it also gave them a series win after dropping the opener.
Brault (10-9) allowed just the three hits while striking out nine and walking one.
Americaan's homer came as he led off the the fifth inning. He hit it off Golden Grapplers starting pitcher Cole Wilcox.
