Retaining Money / Trades
In a trade if I have an overpaid veteran who has 4 years and 15 million a year left on the deal and I agree to pay 50% at 7.5 million.
Am I agreement to just pick up the 7.5 million for that year? or the remainder of his contract? (basically I'd be paying for him to play for another team)?
