Robbie Ray dominated the Giants in his second start of the season throwing 7 innings of 2 hit ball, striking out 7, walking 3 and allowing just one run.
The game was put beyond doubt in the 6th when 1B Kevin Cron hit a two run homer off Giants’ starter Drew Smyly to make the score 4-1 after Buster Posey drove in his first run of the season in the top of the third to tie the game up at 1-1.
Smyly for his part pitched well in his first start striking out 6 in 5 innings but he took the loss and the Giants bullpen imploded somewhat allowing 6 hits and 3 runs in their 3 innings of work

Need a strong (and long) start out of Gausman tomorrow, bullpen is gassed and needs the day off Thursday before the home opener against the Dodgers. Logan Webb is day to day but has been drafted back into action for the game tomorrow.
