We really need to offload salary before we get started. We are below the "baseline" on both scouting budget and player development budget.

So I have decided to pull the trigger on this trade with the Royals.

Here is a look at Yusmero Petit. Unfortunately, we are going to pay him $1.1 million to pitch for KC.

They also wanted Lazaro Armenteros. I don't like the look of his player profile one bit. Plus, he had 227 K in only 459 AB last year in high A (49.5%!).

I don't really know what to do with Maikel Franco yet, but he is not costing us much as far as salary goes.

Also, we will be adding another reliever in Tyler Zuber. I don't like pitchers with only two pitches, but so far his stats in minors have been quite decent.
