Kelvin Smith.
In return we will be getting back two relievers. Neither has pitched in AA yet, so that is likely where we start them in 2023.

Joan Adon.
Good swap for the Rockies since they signed him in June after his release from Washington.
We will also receive
Daniel Federman.
I love picking up guys like this where we have time to see if they can become an MLB reliever or not.
He is a 2nd rounder from the 2020 draft, so he doesn't need to be rule 5 protected.
65 stuff potential and if his curve can develop we might have something.
At the end of the day, better to pick up someone to fill a roster spot rather than non-tendering.
That said, I don't think I will bother tendering
Eric Hanhold a contract. I think we can find a replacement from within or on a MiLB signing.
