The Cubs have traded catcher Victor Caratini to the Indians and received Carlos Carassco and 2.86M in cash.
The Mariners sent Wei-Yen Chen and Evan White to the Reds in exchange for Derek Dietrich
The Mets sent 3B J. Davis to the Rangers in exchange for CL Jose Leclerc and minor leaguer SS Maximo Acosta

Max Scherzer had another decent outing after the All-star break but that was not enough to beat the Pirates. The offense was totally dominated by Joe Musgrove and the Pirates pitching staff and we only managed to score one run in 7 hits.

W, (3-2) @PNC Park
We came back on the last few innings to earn a crucial victory. Patrick Corbin had a quality outing by going 7 innings and allowing 2 runs. The bullpen did a good job holding the rival and Guerra was credited with the win and the save. It was an Adam Eaton single on the top of the 10th that gave us the winning run.

David Price of the Los Angeles Dodgers was diagnosed with some damaged elbow ligament and will be out for the season.

W, (9-1) @PNC Park
A great offensive performance by Juan Soto lead the team to a series finale win. Soto went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 homers, 2 bases on balls and 5 RBI´s. Michael A Taylor had a 3-run homer on the eighth inning. The great offensive display was accompanied by a good pitching performance by Anibal Sanchez who went 8 innings and allowed just one run.
