In the bottom of the third, Anderson put the Angels in the lead with a two-out RBI single.

In the top of the fifth, Wilson tied the game with a 383 foot lead off homer.
In the bottom of the sixth, Erstad put the Angels back in the lead with a sacrifice fly.
After six: Anaheim 4 Seattle 3.
In the top of the seventh, Mike Holtz took the mound for the Angels. Boone put the Mariners back in the lead with a 387 foot two-run homer with two out.
In the top of the eighth, Ben Weber took the mound for the Angels.
In the bottom of the eighth, Arthur Rhodes took the mound for the Mariners.
In the series of the ninth, Kazuhiro Sasaki took the mound for the Mariners and set the Angels down in order to record the save.
The Mariners got 11 hits in the win.
