Post 2021 Week 20. (71-46)

L, (5-6) @Chase Field
We dropped the first game of the series against the Diamondbacks at home. Graveman gave up 4 runs in 6.1 innings and Keone Kela allowed two more on the final inning. Murphy went deep for his 16th homer of the year. Carter Kieboom went 4 for 4.

Roster Moves
Michael A Taylor was diagnosed with a bruised collarbone and went to the 10-day IL. Carlos Tocci was called up from AAA to replace him.

L, (0-1) @Chase Field
We dropped the second game and wasted a great outing by Daniel McGrath. Arizona´s starter Merril Kelly had a complete game and allowed only 3 hits. This was our third loss in a row.

L, (6-11) @Chase Field
We were swept by the Diamondbacks. It was a terrible game for our pitching staff mainly for our starter Garret Richards who gave up 6 earned runs in 2.2 innings. The bullpen could not stop the rival's offense and allowed 5 more runs. Starlin Castro went deep for his 6th homer of the year.

League News
Giancarlo Stanton recorded his 400th career homer.

W, (11-8) @Coors Field
We snapped out of the losing streak by beating the Rockies on the first game of the series. Carlos Tocci made his major league debut and went 2 for 5. Rick Porcello struggled and gave up 6 runs in 4 innings. Carter Kieboom and Juan Soto went deep.

W, (14-5) @Coors Field
Max Scherzer´s 15 win of the season was his 200th of his career. He allowed 4 runs in 6 innings whilst punching out 11. Austin Adams has been improving and he struck out the side on the ninth inning. Murphy and Turner had a three-hit game but the player of the game was Andrew Stevenson who went 4 for 5 with three runs batted in and a home-run.

W, (10-7) @Coors Field
Another slugfest in Colorado. Graveman gave up 6 runs in just 2 innings but the offense came from behind and scored 10 runs in the middle innings. Eaton, Kieboom, Soto, and Murphy went deep to secure our third win in a row.

W, (13-12) @Coors Field
We swept the Rockies at Coors Field. We managed to score 48 runs in 4 games and in spite of allowing a lot we earned a valuable series win. The last game featured an amazing performance from Drew Ward who had 2 home runs and 8 runs batted in. Murphy and Soto also went yard. The bullpen arms were all tired so we had to used starter Garret Richards on the final two innings and he earned the save.
