Post 2021 Week 24. (86-56)

W, (8-7) @Nationals Park
After being swept by the Cubs we took the first game of the series against Arizona. Our pitching staff struggled a bit but the offense came through in the middle innings. Juan Soto went deep twice and had 4 runs batted in. Daniel Murphy also went deep and he has a career-high of 26 home runs on the season.

W, (4-2) @Nationals Park
We took the second game of the series thanks to a good outing by Garret Richards and our pitching staff. Madison Bumgarner came in relief for the Dbacks and we scored all 4 runs off him. Daniel Murphy and Ryan Zimmerman had back to back home runs.

Roster Moves
The roster expansion date is here: I´ve called up Rick Porcello and Carlos Tocci.

W, (8-3) @Nationals Park
Starlin Castro was named player of the game as we cruised through the third game of the series. Castro went 2 for 3 with a double, a homer and 3 runs batted in. Patrick Corbin's second outing of the year was limited to 80 pitches and he went 5 innings allowing 1 earned run and punching out 8. The run came thanks to a homer by Ketel Marte.

L, (3-8) @Nationals Park
Trevor Bauer's first outing after 6 months on the IL was okay. He went seven innings in just 78 pitches and allowed 2 earned runs. Jhonatan German blew up the game and allowed 4 more runs in the eighth inning. Jason Castro and Carter Kieboom went deep for us.

L, (3-5) @Nationals Park
We dropped the first game against Miami after a mediocre outing by Scherzer and a couple of runs allowed by the pen. Torres-Costa was tagged with the loss and he has a season record of (5-2). Our offense could not deliver some clutch hits and we left 11 men on scoring position.

W, (6-0) @Nationals Park
After a couple of weeks in the IL Rick Porcello came back and delivered a great game. He went 7.2 shutout innings allowing just 5 hits and punching out 8 rivals. Wander Suero finished the shutout victory. Juan Soto and Daniel Murphy went deep.

W, (7-1) @Nationals Park
We took the series finale thanks to another great pitching performance. This time it was Garret Richards who had 10k performance in six innings. He allowed just one run. Soto and Murphy had homers on went back to back on straight days. Daniel Murphy was named NL player of the week.
