Post 2021 Week 26. (94-61)

W, (6-5) @Nationals Park
Having won the division all of our starters will have a pitch limit of 80. Scherzer struck out 8 and allowed 2 runs in 5.2 innings. Victor Robles, Daniel Murphy, and Starlin Castro all went deep to help us secure this one-run win against the Mets.

L, (6-10) @Nationals Park
We lost the second game of the series after a bullpen catastrophe in the final few innings. Harrington, Hand, and German combined to allow 6 runs. Drew Ward went deep and recorded the 10th home run of his rookie season.

Roster Moves
Starlin Castro agreed to a contract extension worth 14M for 2 years. The second-year has a team option attached to it.
Drew Harrington was demoted to AAA and Keone Kela was recalled from his rehab assignment in the minors.

L, (1-3) @Nationals Park
Strasburg started again after a couple of outing of the pen and went 5 innings allowing 1 run. McGrath struggled and gave up 2 runs in 2 innings pitched. Our offense was dominated by the Mets pitching staff.

League News
The Chicago White Sox´s have won the AL Central

W, (8-7) @Nationals Park
We took the first game of the series against the reign champions the Oakland A´s thanks to a great 8th inning. Adam Eaton had a great game by going 3 for 4 with a homer and 3 runs batted in. Victor Robles and Juan Soto went deep as well. Corbin struggled and gave up 6 runs in 3 innings. Hand recorded his 33rd save of the season.

L, (6-16) @Nationals Park
It was a terrible day for our pitching staff as all of them struggled and we suffered a blowout loss. Matt Chapman the third baseman of the A´s had a 2 home-run day. Victor Robles went deep for us and he has 17 home runs in the season.

League News
The Pittsburgh Pirates have won the NL Central.

Juan Soto has recorded 166 bases on balls this season. This is the 5th most in history after Barry Bonds (2004,2002, and 2001 seasons) and Babe Ruth. If he records more than 11in the final seven-games, his season will be third in the all-time list.

W, (7-2) @Nationals Park
We took the series finale thanks to another great performance by Max Scherzer. Scherzer allowed 2 runs in seven innings and struck out 10. He is 8 strikeouts away from having a 300 strikeout season. Victor Robles went deep and he is riding a 3 game streak. Zimmerman went deep and he is up to 13 home runs this season.
