Paris at Le Diamant

Game 5 was a thriller from start to finish. The Artists were threatening to score at virtually every inning, but veteran Vic Cosman always knew when to tighten the screws.

When Kobashyi singled in a run, combined with Herve DeLage's solo shot, it looked like that was all that SP Julien Henri would need to close it out. With a low pitch count, he was in command.

Frederick Legendre launched a 2 run homer in the 8th and just like that we had a new ball game. With a man on first in the bottom of the 9th, Gracia sent a ball into the right field corner. The play at the plate was not close.

The Diamonds have won 3 straight and are on the verge of upsetting one of the best teams in FBL history. We had back to Paris for game six.
