All right—I *think* this worked:

But someone can let me know if it didn't.

I won't go on and on here, except to say that I hope folks enjoy exploring this world (or simply poaching its uniforms). Version 1.0 has a whopping 19,200 players spread across its 768 teams—I've gone through each one to scan for immersion's sake (that is to say, there are no terrifying squeezed-face FaceGens, no 18 year-olds named Bob, no Korean Jarametriuses, et al.). The major league squads have been thought through—star players have nicknames, teams have preferences and identities, and so forth.

Because of the time I put into the roster, the league begins with trading and the financial system turned off—I wanted to be able to sim & swim in this world for a fair number of seasons before it stopped resembling what I put together initially. At a certain point, my plan was to switch those back on, let the first version of the roster age into its role as the Babe/Cobb/Wagner/et al. bronze generation of forefathers, and allow the league to become a living organism with more moving & shaking realism. You, of course, can do whatever you'd like.

The best feature of this, in my opinion, is the March Madness-style playoff system—64 of the 192 teams make the bracket, and let me tell you: it's a wild sim.

I hope that some of the talented artists on here will be inspired to take a crack at some teams that could use an improvement. And hopefully the gameplay offers something for everyone—you can navigate a powerhouse like St. Louis, Surrey, or New York through a crowded field... put a fringe playoff contender like Binghamton, Albuquerque, or Nassau over the top... take a doormat with some gems on the farm like Edmonton or Plano to respectability. The choice is yours.

Thanks for any feedback, criticism, or whatever else—and please let me know if you have trouble accessing anything. Good luck out there.
