Second year outfielder Val Guzman will likely get the majority of the starts in center until McPhillips- who will almost certainly start the regular season on a rehab stint- is ready to return. Back up rightfielder Jon Williams, who is very speedy and a fine defender but has little experience is center, will likely also be given plenty of chances this exhibition season to play the position.
