Having earlier lost one of our finest left-handed relievers, Jason Gottula, for an extended period of time, the Denver Brewers yesterday found out they will have to start the season without the services of their best lefty starter, Erik Sloan. Sloan, who suffered an oblique strain, is expected to be back mid-to-late April.
