Watch out for Southpaws next season
Well, Southpaws haven't been living up to their name so far, but all that changes next season. A few weeks back they were fortunate enough to draw perfect peak Hubbell in a tournament pack. After selling it for 320k, they used the funds to help finish all the live missions, and then they just sat on the rest for a few weeks.
Today, that all changed. I bought perfect peak Lefty Grove (100) in AH for 75k, peak Rube Waddell for 92k, ;perfect peak Joe Cronin for 82k, and, to top it off, peak Johnny Pesky (93) for 63k (not sure what I am going to do with both Cronin and Pesky yet, but it is a nice problem to have).
Now I am broke but I have all the pieces to assemble a true Southpaw team next year. The Southpaws will remain in bronze next year (winning only about 90 games this year), but they will be much improved, and living up to their name.
