There are many elements that make up a championship baseball team... they hit well, pitch well and they catch well... scoring runs is vital to winning baseball games, but just as important is to keep teams from scoring runs... defenders with the golden gloves are a key element for success on the diamond... the Islandian Pro Alliance announced the 2063 Ruthlandian Union and Tycobbian Union Golden Glove Awards... the top nine defenders for each league were honored with golden glove trophies... St. John's Tuffy Palmieri was selected for the 7th time in his career... St. John's Freddie Woodruff has 5 trophies... and Oxford's Buddy Blackford is a 4-time Golden Glove recipient.
