Armando Castillo went 3 for 6 with a home run, but it was his 11th inning double that gave the Jays the lead and ultimately the 13-10 win over the Twins.
Gregory Polanco and Larry Johnson also homered for Toronto.
Jose Deleon left the game with an unknown injury, and with other players suffering from fatigue, the call-ups could not come at a better time.
