Need to manage 20 plays for Challenge Mode achievements that require playing in game to count. If you sim to the 7th inning, and there are no hits by either side, you could find yourself with only 15 plays if the bottom of the ninth is not needed. Typically I play the first 3 outs, then sim to the 7th for the extra margin and have had no trouble getting the in game achievements. Currently sitting at 95 of 144.

I mention my experience with Challenge Mode vice Steam as I would hope that the requirements for achievements in both cases were the same (or at least VERY similar).
