Last season was awful. Just terrible. Shouldn't be possible to lose that many games for a professional baseball team. Owner Rustam Tsarev blamed the GM and sent him walking but he hasn't given new GM T.J. Walker much to work with and little has been done to improve the team. The signing of 38 year old Tommy Glass hasn't inspired much hope, even if he still is a good ball player.
Tsarev at the very least recognises it's going to be a rough year. The main goal he's issued to Walker is "don't suck completely".
There is one ray of sunshine for Falcon fans though. Last year's #1 draft pick Christian Tiggs is on the roster. He'll be playing a bench role for now but fans will be hoping to see a showcase of his talent throughout the year.
