The Turtles have gone all-in this year by trading away a lot of their prospects to plug the damage left by the losses of Zuidgeest and Lyabah. Management is hoping for a return to the playoffs but no one really rates their chances.
The Turtles surprised everyone when they sprung out to lead the West Division going into the All-Star break but they couldn't keep it up as the Sharks eventually left them in their dust and left the Turtles in a tense fight with the Polar Bears and Penguins for the final spot in the playoffs.
This Turtles team shouldn't be counted out just yet. Rating them lower than .500 feels a bit harsh.
