I sim most of my games. Except if its a milestone game, 1st time in the show or some kind of big trade debut. Home opener, home finale, Arizona fall league championship, mlb playoffs.
I play full universe so all the foreign and indy leagues. And I spend a lot of time managing my organization, players, personnel and scouting. I constantly update all of my shortlists and look for talent in as many places as possible. I look not just for prospects but to upgrade all my minor league levels. I know the 20 players that have spent 3 years in my DSL aren't likely to develop or TCR anytime soon. And if I can replace them with another 20 players 3 years younger then I'm going to spend time doing it even if none of them make it to Class A ball.
But just do whatever is the most fun and entertaining to you. I am entertained with running the entire organization, players, personnel the actual game day stuff I am ok not concerning myself with. I do setup lineups but that's about it.
