CLAXTON, OXFORD WIN 2 IN A ROW
The Claxton Diamonds and Oxford Red Caps are looking good thus far in the 2062 Islandian Pro Alliance postseason playoffs with two victories in two games... in contrast things are not going well for the Valmara Vipers and the San Alejo Montaneros, who are down two games to none in first-round action.

In the Ruthlandian Division Championship Series, Claxton won a marathon masterpiece yesterday, pulling out a 16-inning thriller over Valmara 3-2... in the other RU series Wynnamac blanked Sligo 3-0 to even that up at one game apiece... meanwhile Oxford rallied very late in the game and subdued San Alejo 3-1 in the Tycobbian Union... in the other matchup Pro Cup favorite Rolling Hills got rolling and topped Tuckanarra 4-1.
