After the month he had, of course Houston's rookie lefty starter Sandy Morales also nets Rookie of the Month honors in the SJL.

When you are a fan of the Detroit Falcons there are few things to get excited about. But this month rookie shortstop Blake Brock proved to be one bright spot on an otherwise dismal team. In winning the monthly best rookie honor, he showed a bit more offensive punch then is expected of him, while also displaying great speed and excellent defense at this key position. There are some whispers that his focus might not be there (and some even call him downright lazy) but there is no doubt that his talent will be one of the factors the Falcons will rely on as they work to rebuild.
