RACERS ADVANCE IN TU, OTHER 3 SERIES GO TO 7TH GAME
It was almost unaminous all across the Islandian Pro Alliance... three of the four first-round playoff series will go the full length - to seven games... the only exception was in the Tycobbian Union where the Pro Cup favorite Rolling Hills Racers pulled out a comeback thriller with a 6-5 triumph over the Tucknanarra Tiger Cats in game six... the Racers eliminated the Tucks in a very hard-fought six games, four games to two... all of the other three series will have a seventh-game finale to decide the series.
Yesterday the Valmara Vipers knotted its Ruthlandian series with Claxton at three games each... the Vipers forced a seventh game with a 4-2 victory... it was the same thing in Sligo, where the hometown Rovers eked out a 3-1 win in 10 innings... and in the Tycobbian Union, San Alejo got a great pitching performance to whip favored Oxford 3-0 and even it up to three games apiece.
