I simmed day-by-day to see what happens, but despite his refusal the initial offer remains active, and "ask for response" remains grey so his contract runs out on July 1st...and despite being a RFA I have not the budget to sign him again

nevermind, i'll restart this save cause I realized in the meantime I did many mistakes on roster management , now that i have a slightly better handle of the game and notably the financial part, the experience will be better : great game!
