I clipped their recipe, though I've added a couple slight touches, to make up for the lost atmosphere, a touch of nutmeg and a little sour cream for a little Polish richness. I have to admit I enjoyed the Cafe Beignet more, because of the statues. Nice to have coffee with chickory under the shadow of Louis Prima. Besides one time we were there and the singer looked enough like my older son to be his brother.
