Port Rupert took took the first two games of three at Transylvania in the final games of the PT season to clinch, what I believe is their fourth overall crown. Hooterville still remained in the lead entering their final series, but were bested by the irony of Asylum's first winning season in silver, in OL or PT, while leaving the Keepers short of qualifying.
In PT play, the Haymakers, heavy favorites, get a shot at revenge as they host the Asylum in the divisional round of the AC. Waffletown, is the lone OL NC team, but finished strong, so perhaps we can get an OL World Series. No team was relegated. I'm not sure how promotion works with six teams, but I assume given their overall record, Asylum would remain with a loss to Hooterville. I assume the Haymakers will be promoted regardless. It also seems that a Waffletown wild card win would set them up for promotion.
Good luck to all in the OL universe. Crowning might be a little slow. I've promised to make beignets fro breakfast and have yet to start.

the old cliche "every game matters" couldn't be more appropriate.... so close yet so far away for the Syrups...
good luck all in the playoffs... gotta say, there's a part of me that hopes my boys crash and burn in the wild card, cause pretty sure they would get destroyed at the gold level (edit: hope becomes reality as the Syrups lose in the WC game)
side note: one card away from finishing the AL West collection.... would it be wrong for me to claim that Ichiro card is actually his great-grandfather who played in 1910 and slide him into my lineup?
