Bobby Erbakan has seen his batting average on the decline lately but he continues to manage at least one hit per game. In an ugly loss against Charlotte on Thursday, the only real suspense was whether Bobby could keep the streak alive and heading into the late innings it was starting to look like he wouldn't. But when he came up in the 7th with one out and Josh Schaeffer at first, he showed why he is such a great hitter, working a 3-2 count on 9 pitches (fouling off 5 pitches) before drilling the 10th pitch on a line drive to the opposite field to score Schaeffer.
