Hey Stanley, is there maybe something going on with your laptop's network adapter or wifi card? If you have a desktop that can connect but your laptop in the same house can't it seems like it might be the wifi.

Have you tried plugging an ethernet cable into the laptop and connecting? If that works then that's more evidence that the wifi card is flaking out.
