Bobby Erbakan's first triple of the 1977, in the 6th inning of Sunday's loss in Portland, extended his WPK-longest ever hitting streak to 39 games.
Unfortunately, Brewers starter Erik Sloan continued his struggles and the Brewers offense couldn't break out against Wild Things starter Kyle Bidwell or their veteran closer Ed Milia, who is having one of the best seasons of his career at age 30.
(It should be noted though that things could have been even worse for the Brewers if it were not for several spectacular plays made in left field by rookie Val Guzman, who continues to have a fine season.)
