And....41!

He only got 1 hit in the Brewers victory on Wednesday evening against the Phoenix Speed Devils in Denver, but it was a big one- a 2-run, 2-out triple to the opposite field which put the Brewers on the board.

When you have a hitting streak going it probably isn't a bad thing to face the historically worst pitching staff in the league and do so at home.

Sekien Hamasaki improved to 8-0 with the victory. And the Brewers are now 40-20 to start the 1977 season.
