Hope the better minds out there than mine can help with this one!

Myself and 4 other Yankee fans have 'drafted' all time Yankee teams comprising of the best individual players who have represented the team over the years. I'm trying to create a round robin tournament of 32 games (followed by a best of 7 playoff for the best two teams) but not sure how I can do it. I can create a tournament but how do I select (for example) the 1923 version of Babe Ruth or the 1956 Joe DiMaggio and then allocate them to the teams?

Any advice greatly appreciated!
